Moscow, Aug 30 (IANS) A delegation from North Korean government, led by Vice Premier of Cabinet Ri Ryong-nam, will attend the 5th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) to be held in Russia's Vladivostok from September 4 to 6.

Giving this information here on Friday, the North Korean Embassy in the Russian Federation said Ri Ryong-nam is expected to hold a series of meetings on the sidelines of the Forum to discuss measures and ways to bolster economic cooperation between the two countries.

In particular, North Korea is interested in organizing working meetings with Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev and Russian Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic Alexander Kozlov.

An official delegation from the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK) also took part in the Eastern Economic Forum 2018.
