Los Angeles, June 26 (IANS) Author George R.R. Martin, whose series of epic fantasy novels "A Song of Ice and Fire" was adapted into "Game of Thrones", is moved by "Chernobyl".

"Binge-watched HBO's 'Chernobyl'. Terrifying, exciting, heartbreaking. If this one does not win a truckload of Emmys, there is no justice in Hollywood. And a special shout out to the talented Jared Harris for his amazing performance," Martin posted on Twitter.

"Chernobyl" dramatises the story of the 1986 nuclear accident, one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history, and the cleanup efforts that followed.

Apart from Harris, it has Stellan Skarsgård, Emily Watson and Paul Ritter leading the cast.
