Historical Event on 07/24/1206
Qutubu'd-din Aibak (1206-1210) was crowned at Lahore after the death of Muhammad of Ghuri. He was originally a slave of Turkestan. As he started his career as a slave, the dynasty founded by him in India is known as ""Slave Dynasty"". The construction of Qutabminar was started during his regime. Since he was very generous, the people called him ""Lakh Baksh"".

11/19/1838	Keshab Chandra Sen (1838-84), nationalist leader of Bengal, was born in Calcutta. He was one of the first Indians to sow the seeds of secularism in the country. He joined the Brahmo Samaj in 1857 but seperated from it in 1866 and founded Brahma Samaj of India, a radical offshoot of the Adi Brahmo Samaj.
