8/18/1995Parvati Giri, also called the Little Mother Teresa, died in Orissa. She was 69. She was a social worker and had taken part during the Quit India movement.
1/31/1995ISRO and Intelsat sign a $100 m 10-year-long agreement for leasing some of the capacity of the Indian-built INSAT-2E (scheduled for launch in 1997).

He also edited several other newspapers like ""Tribune"", ""New India"", ""Vande Mataram"", ""Swaraj"", ""Hindu Review"", ""Democrat"", ""Independent Bengali"", etc.
